The Club was formed in 1954 as one of 61 branches of the Senior Citizens’ Association of B.C. and the first senior club in Kelowna. It was incorporated in 1977 to stimulate public interest in the welfare of senior citizens, to protect the rights and interests of pensioners, and to cooperate with pensioners’ organizations to promote the pensioner movement. From 1977 to 1989 the club acquired the property on Fuller and Richter, expanded it in the 1990’s to provide more space for seniors activities. We are updating our purpose to provide and promote social activities and educational programs to seniors, to collect and disperse information of concern to members and to collaborate with other senior societies
